Democrat National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile spoke with the media after the second presidential debate in St. Louis, Missouri, and actually said the unspeakable.
When a reporter asked if Juanita Broaddrick had a right to be at the debate and if she had a right to be believed, Brazile said she did.
“Juanita Broaddrick is a citizen and any citizen has a right in the country under the First Amendment to say and do whatever, but doesn’t Hillary Clinton deserve an opportunity as a candidate for office to talk about the issues that impact all Americans?”
Brazil tried to turn the topic of the conversation to those Republican nominee Donald Trump had insulted, which include Alicia Machado, Rosie O’Donnell and Megyn Kelly. What Brazile couldn’t spin, however, was the fact that former President Bill Clinton was not accused of saying rude or distasteful things, but of actual rape and sexual abuse.
Big difference, but don’t expect the left to acknowledge that.
When a reporter asked Brazile asked if Kathy Shelton, the 12-year-old rape victim whose attacker Hillary Clinton defended, deserved to be heard, she said there had been “plenty of opportunities” for that to happen before quickly turning the conversation back to Trump.
Brazile’s reply that any of Bill Clinton’s victims should be heard must have infuriated the Clintons, who have tried to silence his accusers for 30 years.
Hillary would love for women to think she is on their side, but she isn’t. She’s on Hillary’s side. The one thing she has chased after her entire life has been power. If people get in the way of that power, she will set out to crush them, regardless of gender.
It’s no more complicated than that.
Clinton serving as president would ruin this country because her desire for power would come first, and the safety and security of the public would be secondary, at best.
