OUCH: Amy Schumer Goes on Trump Rant During Comedy Show, Gets NASTY Surprise

Comedienne Amy Schumer likely thought she would get some laughs during the Donald Trump portion of her show in Tampa, Florida, Sunday night, but instead she received something much different.

In fact, nearly 200 Trump supporters heckled the raunchy comedienne before ultimately walking out of the show over their disagreement with her anti-Trump rhetoric.

Schumer, a supporter of Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, started bad-mouthing Republican nominee Trump about midway through the show, which was attended by about 10,000, according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

At one point Schumer invited a vocal Trump supporter to join her on stage to explain why he was supporting the GOP nominee, but quickly dismissed him when he said he was supporting Trump only because he “can’t trust Hillary.”

Schumer also instructed her security team to escort out anyone who was booing during her tirade against the New York businessman-turned-candidate.

The final straw for Trump supporters, however, came when Schumer called the candidate an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster.”

The vocal contingent of hundreds of Trump supporters started filing out of the arena in protest, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Her comments came as little surprise, as she has been a vocal proponent of Clinton’s campaign this year and has often joined the Democrat presidential candidate on the campaign trail and at voter registration drives.

Schumer, a distant cousin of New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, has also used her celebrity status to promote her views on other political issues, such as gun control.

While in a perfect world we could enjoy comedy shows, sporting events and awards shows without celebrities inserting political discourse into the entertainment world, that unfortunately is not the case today.

Schumer certainly has a right to express her political beliefs, but those of us who disagree, like the 200 who abandoned her recent Florida show, have the right not to support the her career.
