While it is understandable or at least defensible to want to guard against glorifying the Islamic butcher who murdered those 49 innocent people in Orlando, the regime’s decision to redact portions of the killer’s speech is also a probable cover up. For an political Attorney General who is an extension of the Jihadist occupying the White House it’s a blatant effort at damage control, keeping the more inflammatory statements out of the public sphere. They don’t want to contradict the message that the gun did it, that the Islamist was just a generic “lone wolf” who was “radicalized” at the last minute by the Internet.
Statements to the contrary by the killer himself would damage years of hard work vilifying the Second Amendment.
On Sunday, Attorney General Loretta Lynch told Jake Tapper, in her even, soft and less than truthful voice that portions of a transcript between the Islamic terrorist and law enforcement during the standoff would be released in a redacted form.
We’re trying to get as much information about this investigation out as possible,” she said.
Lynch told tapper, “We will hear him talk about some of those things (ISIS, propaganda), but we are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance and that. It will not be audio, it will be a printed transcript. But it will begin to capture the back and forth between him and the negotiators, we’re trying to get as much information about this investigation out as possible. As you know, because the killer is dead, we have a bit more leeway there and we will be producing that information tomorrow.”
Lynch says she’s going to Orlando on Tuesday to continue her briefings on the case, which will surely be the pretext and a component of the trip. There’s also surely an inevitable attack on guns coming with perhaps her being the one, following in the Jeh Johnson model, to initiate unconstitutional restrictions or actions against law abiding American citizens.
We can be sure that this woman will not be engaged solely in an impartial fact-based investigation. As she removed the blindfold of justice and declared from a stage before the pro-Islamic group “Muslim Advocacy,” targeting speech for prosecution. She also noted with pride the record of her department under ACLU recruit Vanita Gupta, who heads the Civil Rights Division, in prosecuting Americans who refuse to sit and remain silent.
We will most certainly be hearing more anti-gun, anti-American defenses of the Islamists on Tuesday. She is not going down to Orlando to receive firsthand briefing. She’s going to look for opportunities and to deliver more of the same type of anti-American attacks, and perhaps the next step in the Obama disarmament agenda.
